1745 is a young Scottish company based in Lanarkshire that has developed an exciting new range of high quality and educational dice board games for all the family - Quests of the World - each game focussing on a separate country.
Following on from the success of the original ‘Scottish Quest’ board game, the range now encompasses Scottish Quest, English Quest, Irish Quest and Welsh Quest. Suitable for ages 8 years plus and for 2 to 6 players (or teams), a Quest game makes an ideal gift for all occasions, from a joint gift at Christmas, through to a great birthday present for family and friends. Each game is beautifully presented and will be a gift to treasure and enjoy for many years.
As the name ‘Quest’ suggests, every game is an educational adventure in the waiting. The aim of the game is for each player to race by land, sea and air across England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales with the mission to collect letters to form the word ‘QUEST’. To progress their journey, players need to earn sovereigns by answering a series of general knowledge questions about their own country from the 2,000 plus question cards. However, their way can also be hindered by incurring travel and penalty costs as well as landing on Jester locations that force the player to pick a Jester card announcing either an opportunity or a penalty. The winner is the first player to collect all their QUEST letters, reach the country’s capital city and correctly answer one final question.
Quality educational entertainment for the whole family, all wrapped up in one stunning little box!
