LITTLE GREENE Little Greene’s roomset is a true showcase of timeless interior design. The wallpaper design ‘Crooms Hill’ - from their brand new collection ‘London Wallpapers III’ - is based on a fragment dated from around 1760, retrieved from the Manor House on Crooms Hill in Greenwich and held by the esteemed English Heritage wallpaper archive. The floor is painted in the hard wearing Floor Paint in ‘Invisible Green’, a Georgian colour attributed to the landscape gardener Humphrey Repton, while the cast iron boat bath is painted in ‘Atomic Red’, a vibrant shade whose origin has been authenticated by English Heritage to be as recent as the 1970s. |
