Spring Lifestyle Theatre

With more talks and demonstrations, you can pick up some great tips to try at home. Why not get advice on how to create an Easter feast, or see how to make unique table decorations. There are a wide range of topics for you and your home so make sure you don't miss any of our inspiring sessions. Remember, seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to arrive in time. Please note that on Thursday, we will be running our Kitchen Table Talent sessions, so the below timetable applies to Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

These sessions are free to attend and places are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. So be sure to arrive early to secure your seat.

Easter Decoration Ideas with Ribbon with Jane Means
Jane will be getting creative with ribbons, bows and pretty paper, showing you how to create beautifully Easter decorations.
Leiths School of Cookery 12:00-12:30 (Fri and Sat)
Spring Menu Ideas with Leiths School of food and wine
Join Leith's teachers at the Country Living Fair as they demonstrate how to make some fantastic seasonal meals for Easter.
Leiths has been teaching cookery for over 35 year and have published over seven cookery books containing tried and tested recipes that they use at the School. Leiths dedicated team of trained professional teachers have a wealth of expertise gained in the world of restaurants and commercial catering; many are also former pupils of Leith's.

The Hand-Stitched Home with Caroline Zoob
Caroline trained as an opera singer and as a solicitor before entering the world of design with her appliqué and embroidery work. She has also designed decorative tableware and sells her pieces alongside beautiful antiques and vintage-style homeware. Her latest book, in association with Country Living, The Hand-Stitched Home (Jacqui Small, £20), is out in May.

Making a Move to the Country with Catherine Gee
Whilst many people dream of making a new life in the country, there are often pitfalls along the way, and finding the perfect home can be a competitive business.  Catherine will discuss things to consider before deciding to up sticks, she’ll also offer tips on choosing the best area, how to make the big move anxiety free and on tracking down the most sought after country properties.

The Art of Illusion with Ben Kendrick, Home Design Editor, Country Living
Ben has worked at Country Living Magazine as Home Design Editor for over 15 years, and has a wealth of experience in design and decoration. He has won awards for his work as an interiors stylist and is recognized for creating classic interiors, which are relaxed, calm, and always achievable. He describes his work on the magazine ‘as his dream job’ - visiting beautiful houses around the country and creating inspiring room sets and craft projects. He divides his time between London and East Sussex where he is doing up a 1920s house.

Fiona loves to inspire her audiences to ‘have a go’ and her lively demonstrations are full of handy hints & tips to show you how to make beautiful, professional looking chocolates & confectionery.

Seasonal patisserie and traditional cakes with Sean Bird
Renowned popular Foodwriter Sean Bird will be demonstrating some of his self penned recipes under the heading "Seasonal Patisserie and Traditional Cakes. See unique ways of creating something steeped in tradition brought right up to date for a modern world without compromising flavour or ingredients and free from gimmicks and fashion fads.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Sean was unable to appear on our Theatre. He's kindly offered his Bakewell Tart recipe, so find out more about this desert which is perfect for Easter >.
