For over 20 years Graham & Julie Carr-Jones have been leading the way in Display Cases of Sporting Memorabilia & Vintage Sporting goods.
We started exhibiting at Country Living in December 1997
Each year our creative juices flow, developing new products, new designs and winning products.
Somethingsporty offers inspirational gift ideas for the most difficult of customers…Men!
We cater for sports enthusiasts of every genre: Aviation, Boxing, Cricket, Equestrian, Fishing, Football, Golf, Locomotives, Motor Cycling, Motor Racing, Polo, Rugby Union, Rowing, Sailing, Skiing, Snooker, Tennis, to name but a few.
Incorporating in many instances: Genuine vintage artefacts and facsimile ephemera our shadowbox display cases are as comfortable in the office or study as they are in the downstairs loo.
The possibilities are endless and they make a refreshing change to Boxer shorts or Socks!
Our portfolio includes many challenging & unique commissions, from framing WW2 Airplane propellers to Tribal headdresses; our customers’ range from private individuals through to multi-nationals and even royalty, the ex- England Goal Keeper. And keen angler, also own one of our shadow boxes.
Last year two of the country’s most demanding guys to receive one of our creations were a rather well known chef, famed for his colourful language as much as his cooking!! and the other, a TV presenter & journalist from Sunday night’s top car show, renowned for his outspoken views & loathing of caravans!
The best thing about our products though is that they don’t come with a celebrity price tag!
The largest display we have produced to date was 12 feet across by 5 feet deep it included three full size football jerseys and 11 pairs of boots!! Made for a well known chain of Hotels in Casa Blanca.
Each piece is individually designed by Julie Carr-Jones, who will always try and accommodate a clients personal wishes and willingly incorporate individuals own personal items or photographs with her own natural flair.
