Steffi Stern will be joining us in the London Country Living Theatre at 12 noon on Wednesday, 3pm on Thursday and 3pm on Friday.

The Makerss is owned by Steffi Stern and her business partner Sophie Buckley, wool and craft enthusiasts, who have been professionals in the creative industry for many years and established The Makerss in June 2015 when their first joint book ‘Making Needle Felted Animals’ was published.
Since then Steffi Stern has written another two books ‘Making Simple Needle Felts’ which was released in 2018 and ‘Making Soft Dolls in 2020.
Sara Ward will be joining us in the London Country Living Christmas Theatre everyday at 2pm.
Join us as we upcycle empty glass jars to create beautiful lanterns for home decorations or perfect gifts.
Using everyday items that you can find around the home, Sara Ward of Hen Corner will demonstrate a simple festive craft that you can’t wait to try at home.

Over recent years Sara Ward and her family have transformed their Victorian terrace house in West London into an urban smallholding, Hen Corner. They are living the good life complete with 24 hens, three colonies of honey bees, a fruitful kitchen garden and a micro bakery which is making 30-40 loaves of bread each Friday along with hundreds of sticky buns, cakes and savoury treats.

Join gift wrap guru Jane Means and pick-up top-tips on how to wrap awkward shaped presents and stylish ideas that will make your gifts so beautiful they will look too good to open! This fun demonstration will also cover eco-friendly, plastic free gift wrap alternatives.

Karen Griggs will be joining us in the London Country Living Theatre on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon everyday.
Starting with a wreath base, some floristry wire and a needle and thread Karen will demonstrate how to make a stunningly beautiful Christmas wreath from supplies you will be able to find in your own garden, local park or woodland and home.
Learn how to choose foliage for scent and colour. Be inspired to ask relatives for button boxes and left-over pieces of fabric.
You will learn how to make your own ribbon from leftover pieces of fabric and old clothes; leave feeling inspired to look for different leaves, seeds and cones when walking in nature.

Karen is an expert in designing craft activities for beginners. Her love of colours, textures, and scent influences all her work. When you open a Forest Play Box, the scent of a woodland fills the room. Karen’s Forest Craft Boxes are a treasure trove of vintage haberdashery, natural fabrics and wool.
We all want to lead more sustainable lives and make ethical purchases. Karen believes in helping her customers on that journey. She searches extensively for ethical suppliers, plastic free and vintage craft supplies. Each Forest Craft and Play box is handmade with love by Karen and her small team in Yorkshire.

Sarah will show you how to create a statement Christmas tree – with insider tips on the latest colour trends, what’s new in baubles and decorations – including the stunning glass bauble range from House Beautiful at Homebase. She will demonstrate how to give your tree an individual look that fits your interior style – and creates the wow factor! Plus lots of advice on choosing and mixing lights and decorations and other ideas for dressing your home at Christmas.

Carolyn Bailey will be joining us in the London Country Living Theatre on Friday at 1pm.
For Good Housekeeping, our Christmas tree decorating mantra is ‘more is more’! Carolyn, aided by Daisy, will demonstrate how to create and dress a stunning Good Housekeeping-style Christmas tree. She will cover how to choose the right tree for you, how to cover the base, choose the right lights, toppers and baubles and where to hang them. Plus she’ll give us a behind-the-scenes peek at a Good Housekeeping homes shoot.
