An interview with Blue & White Company, exhibitors of Country Living Spring Fair.

Company overview

We sell a range of home accessories, items for travel and pocket gifts all in a variety of blues and blue + white.

How did it all start?

It all began with a love of the colour blue!  We are looking to celebrate and share our love of the beautiful combination of blue and white through unique and well-made products.

What inspires you?

The lineage of this colour combination.  We are inspired by the way in which blue and white has been used by artists and makers through the centuries.

What is your creation process?

We have in-house designs and are currently working with contemporary artists to create a unique range of new products that are all made in the UK.  We also source unique and unusual items made by artisans from around the world.

What is your next project?

Several new lines are now being made for the upcoming seasons inspired by botanical designs, nature and work created by the Old Masters.

What are your plans for the next 12 months?

To attend a variety of events around the UK to introduce the company and our products to new customers.

What do you love about Country Living Fairs?

The quality of products that customers can find and the extraordinary variety of companies that collectively showcase the strength of creative design available from British entrepreneurs.

Your three top tips for crafters and makers

Quality pieces remain well loved and we relish handmade items that show the skill of a maker.

Elegant, classical designs that can be combined with contemporary and traditional styles.

Affordable luxury that offers customers something unique for their home.
