Tom Hunt is an eco-chef, Guardian columnist and author of the first comprehensive cookbook on food sustainability Eating for Pleasure, People & Planet.

Hunt is noted for his zero waste and climate friendly cuisine and his sustainability philosophy, Root to Fruit eating.

 

Hunt prioritises people and the planet within his work and believes in a fair global food system that supports small farmers and our ecology. He communicates these beliefs through his columns, cookbooks, as a consultant and through his restaurant Poco in Bristol, awarded Best Sustainable Business by the Sustainable Restaurant Association in 2017 and 2019.
