Travelling to our London Fair

Our London Christmas Fair takes place at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 0QH.

London Underground
The nearest tube station is Angel (on the bank branch of the Northern line) and is a 5 minute walk to the venue. However the Northern, Victoria, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines go to Kings Cross St Pancras station which is a 20 minute walk.

London Overground
Highbury & Islington station (Victoria line) is a 10 minute walk to the venue.

Train
King Cross St Pancras is served by two national rail services – East Coast Main Line and Midland Main Line.

Buses
The following buses stop nearby:
4, 19, 30, 38, 43, 73, 341, 476, N1, N38, N41, N73.

Parking
Visitors are strongly recommended to use public transport where possible as Upper Street and the surrounding roads are very busy shopping areas. There is on-site parking at Upper Street Car Park (SatNav N1 0PW), however during exhibition times the car park is extremely busy and it is recommended that visitors pre-book their space by clicking on this link.

Note there is a minimum stay period of 4 hours and a booking fee of £2.50 applies.

Parking at Upper Street Car Park is:

  • Outside the congestion zone
  • Open 24/7
  • All parking is under cover
  • Fully covered by CCTV
  • Has Electric Vehicle charging points
  • Free bicycle parking
  • Motorcycle parking
  • ParkMark registered
  • Maximum Vehicle Height is 1.9M”

Alternatively, there are several Car Parks within walking distance to the venue.

Please note: the Business Design Centre is not within the Central London Congestion Charge Zone.

Travelling to our Glasgow Fair

Our Glasgow Christmas Fair takes place at SEC, Exhibition Way, Finnieston, Glasgow, G3 8YW.

Car
From the M8 motorway leave at Junction 19 and join the Clydeside Expressway.

Rail
Glasgow’s Central Station is connected with every city in the UK, while Queen Street Station serves central and northern Scotland.

Exhibition Station is the SEC’s own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. There are regular trains from Central Station (Platform 14) that will bring you to the Fair in less than 10 minutes.

Taxi
There are taxi ranks throughout the city and can drop you off at the SEC’s main entrance. Pick-up points include Buchanan Bus Station, Queen Street and Central railway stations.

Air
Glasgow’s International Airport is served by several airlines and is less than 15 minutes via taxi.

Parking
The multi-storey car park is the main parking area used for events at the venue. This facility is located at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8YW and is approximately a 5 minute walk from the venue.

On-site pay machines are located on level 2 (walkway level) and ground floor main foyer of the car park. Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card. Tariff Rates in the MSCP Monday to Sunday are:

  • Up to 1 hour £4
  • 2-12 hours £8
  • 13 hours £12
  • 14-24 Hours £16

Visitors can either pre-pay after arrival or pay before exiting.

Travelling to our Harrogate Fair

Our Harrogate Christmas Fair takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre Yorkshire, Kings Road, Harrogate, HG1 5LA

Park & Ride Service – THE PARK AND RIDE ADDRESS HAS BEEN UPDATED!

 THE PARK & RIDE HAS MOVED!

We will be running a free park and ride service for visitors to this year’s Harrogate Christmas Fair. The service will run approximately every 20 minutes with an approximate journey time of 15 minutes. In order to use the service all you have to do is show your Fair entry ticket or email confirmation. The first service will depart at 9am and the last service of the day will depart at 5.30pm (4.30pm on Sunday). Please note that peak times are from 9am-10am and 3.30pm-5.30pm so you may have to queue for a coach. Park & Ride service: Hilderbrand Barracks, Penny Pot Ln, Harrogate HG3 2SE

Please note the Park and Ride is not wheelchair friendly. The Convention Centre has its own car park underneath Auditorium with around 158 spaces and a number of spaces for Blue Badge holders. Spaces are not guaranteed. The entrance is on Springfield Avenue.

Parking
HCC has its own underground car park with 180 spaces.

The postcode for the HCC Yorkshire car park is HG1 2HU.

Parking Charges

  • Up to 3 hours– £4.00
  • Up to 6 hours– £7.50
  • Up to 12 hours– £11.50
  • 24 hours– £13.00

A further 1,200 spaces are available in the Jubilee and Victoria car parks (located in central Harrogate) and are just 5 minutes away from the venue. Please note that the Jubilee car park is the nearest and most accessible to the Royal Hall and HCC Yorkshire Entrances 4 and 5. Special parking rates may also be available for those wishing to leave their vehicle for more than one day in the HCC car park – please call 01423 537474 for more details.

Air
Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) is the closest airport to Harrogate.

British Airways run daily flights between Harrogate and London Heathrow and there are regular international connections. For more information on flights visitwww.leedsbradfordairport.co.uk

To get from the airport to catch the Airport Direct 737 bus which runs hourly. This will drop you off at the bus station, then it is just a short walk to the HCC, alternatively there is a taxi service available.
