Based, in Wooler, Northumberland, Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum and Distillery is the county’s first (legal) whisky distillery in over 200 years and celebrates the Golden Age of Northumbria in an immersive visitor experience that brings to life the 7th Century Royal summer palace discovered only a stone’s throw away.
