Working from a small workshop and gallery in Jedburgh, Scottish Borders, Artist Linda Lovatt creates assemblages made from copper and fragments of the past. Using a soft soldering technique she has developed for her work she incorporates old keys, broken china, wooden bobbins into her copper foil creatures and beasties. She then patinates them to produce a beautiful blue hue on the copper. Some pieces are freestanding, some framed and a pretty range of jewellery. Everything comes gift boxed with a signed certificate.
