Small Scottish business focused on mental health and self-care, launches at the Glasgow Country Living Fair this November.
The Moody Bee is a small business focusing on self-care and well-being while creating a supportive community with our customers. All our products are made by hand, in our workshop in South Lanarkshire. Our core products include Candles, bath soaks, wax melts, room spray, diffusers as well as a few other products in the pipeline. All our products are 100 % natural and contain only essential oils specifically matched to your mood, which help with symptoms related to our well-being and mental health, these can naturally help combat stress, anxiety, and low mood through the power of aromatherapy. Our natural vegetable wax candles of Soy and Coconut are vegan and eco-friendly. and reusable/recyclable containers We will be making our debut at the SEC on the 17th – 20th of November 2022 for the Glasgow Living Country Fair.
During the pandemic, Joyce and Marie became more aware that so many people suffer from mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress. The pandemic definitely caused more people to suffer, even if they hadn’t had any problems before. With that in mind, they decided to dedicate their time to try and help in some way. This is how The Moody Bee was born.
As we both say daily, “Self-Care isn’t vanity, it’s sanity”. Everyone deserves to take time for themselves and take care of their mind.
We aim to make a community where people feel safe to speak openly on mental health and we aim to donate part of our profits to mental health charities and organisations.
